ahhh, balmain. i’m with the one half of the blogosphere that is still in lust with balmain. yes, this is not groundbreaking, but damn, is it ever good to look at (and, i’m sure, to wear). need sequin jeans now. someone (cough, H&M, cough) make a knockoff pair ASAP. plus, daria (my favorite model) opened AND closed the show (so awesome), and this collection has confirmed that i don’t need to stick with silver accents when it comes to my all-neutral wardrobe – gold looks just as good.

also above are some of my faves from london, milan, and (so far) paris fashion week. while i do love the impractical outfits designers often send down the runway (see dolce & gabbana’s lingerie-inspired collection), i usually gravitate towards looks like the ones above; quite wearable for us everyday gals, or at least translatable, and suitable to my own aesthetic.

can’t wait to see the rest of paris fashion week – isabel marant tomorrow, ann d. on saturday, givenchy on sunday, stella mccartney and YSL on monday, and chloé on tuesday.
