I bought the latest issue of Frankie today. It’s 120 pages of happiness. Thought I’d share this editorial because I think it’s just lovely. And there’s the floral theme, which is a bonus. If you haven’t figured it out already, my basic rule of thumb is: if it’s floral, it’s going up on this blog.

Photo-wise, I like the warmth of the colours. The photos turned out pretty well, despite the fact we were in the shade. Sometimes I’m scared of taking (film) photos that aren’t in full light. The last one resulted in a bit of an ugly lens flare. But I thought I’d post it anyway. I don’t think I’ll ever be blessed with cool lens flares. Sigh.

I finally finished the illustration I posted a while back. To be honest I pretty much gave up, detail-wise, because I wanted it to be finished. I still think I like it better in its unfinished state.
